Terms of Service

These terms cover the Runvel website, Runvel accounts and connected services, Runvel Pro subscriptions purchased on the website, and community features used through the app or website when available. Runvel is operated by Nir Hemo, an individual trading as Runvel ("Runvel", "we", "us"). Contact us at support@runvel.app.

Sections about optional features apply when those features are available and you use them. Describing a feature here does not promise that it is currently available, included in a particular plan or scheduled for release. The service and checkout describe what is offered.

The iPhone and Apple Watch app licence remains governed by Apple's standard End User Licence Agreement. Purchases made through the App Store remain subject to Apple's purchase terms.

1. The service

Runvel offers running and activity tracking. Runvel Pro adds adaptive training plans, live coaching and all-time running statistics, as described on our pricing page. Runvel provides general fitness guidance and does not promise a particular training result. Follow professional advice where appropriate and stop an activity if you feel unwell.

2. Your Runvel account

You must be at least 16 years old to use Runvel. Use your own account and provide accurate information where needed for sign-in, billing and support. Follow the profile requirements shown for community features and do not impersonate another person.

Sign in to the Runvel account you want to upgrade before purchasing on the website. Your purchase belongs to that account; use the same account in the app to access Pro. Changing the billing email at checkout does not transfer your subscription to another Runvel account.

Keep your sign-in methods secure and your contact information up to date. Your Runvel account and subscription are for your personal use; do not share access with others. You are responsible for your own use of the account and for taking reasonable steps to prevent unauthorised access. If you suspect someone has accessed your account without permission, contact support@runvel.app promptly.

Do not use Runvel to gain unauthorised access, interfere with other users or abuse the service. Our Privacy Policy explains the names, emails, profile information and other data we collect, including information you choose to submit or share.

3. Ownership and personal use

Runvel and its licensors retain their rights in the app and website software, Runvel branding and materials we create for the service. Your subscription gives you access to the included features for your personal use; it does not transfer ownership of the software or those materials. You may not resell them or present them as your own, except where we permit it or applicable law allows it. Use of the apps remains subject to Apple's standard End User Licence Agreement.

You retain any ownership rights you have in your own run records, photos, messages and other content you provide. This section does not restrict exporting your own data or grant Runvel permission to use it in advertising. How we handle that information is explained in our Privacy Policy.

4. Website subscriptions and payment

Runvel is not currently available in the European Union (EU), including website subscriptions.

Paddle is the merchant of record for website purchases and handles the payment. Its Buyer Terms apply to that transaction. The checkout shows the selected plan, currency, applicable taxes, any discount, total due and renewal terms before you confirm.

Runvel Pro website plans are monthly or annual. The standard prices are $9.99 USD per month and $109.99 USD per year. Your confirmed checkout states the amount payable for your purchase. An annual plan is billed for the year rather than in monthly instalments.

Subscriptions renew automatically for the selected billing period until cancelled. A discount applies only for the scope and duration stated in the offer and checkout; it does not necessarily continue on renewal.

5. Free trials

An eligible Runvel account may receive one 7-day website trial. Eligibility is checked before checkout; accounts with a previous trial or subscription select a paid plan. If you start a trial and do not cancel before it ends, payment is taken and the subscription renews according to the terms shown at checkout.

6. Cancellation and refunds

Manage a website subscription using the link in your Paddle purchase or renewal email, or through Paddle buyer support. A normal cancellation stops future renewal and keeps access until the paid period ends. Deleting the app or your Runvel account does not itself cancel a subscription.

A refund is a separate request and may change the paid access remaining. See the Refund Policy for the request process and how confirmed refunds affect Runvel Pro.

7. Data and support

A website subscription does not provide cloud backup of your private running history. Training data remains on your devices unless you choose to export it, submit it to support or share selected content through an available feature. A shared activity is not a backup of your full history. Cancelling or refunding a subscription does not delete your local runs. Use the app's export tools to keep a separate copy.

Feature suggestions

Feature suggestions are voluntary. By submitting a suggestion, you allow Runvel to use and develop the idea to create or improve its products without an obligation to pay you or obtain further permission. Only submit ideas you have the right to share.

Runvel owns the features, software and other development it creates, including work informed by user suggestions. Submitting a feature request does not give you ownership, royalties or control over that work, unless we agree otherwise with you in writing. This does not transfer ownership of your personal data, original messages, screenshots or other attachments to Runvel, or affect the rights of third parties in their own materials.

Receiving or accepting a suggestion does not guarantee that it will be developed or released, and does not promise a development schedule or release date.

8. Community and content, when available

Community features may let you create a profile, share activities or other content, follow runners, participate in groups, comment, react or send messages. These rules apply to the features you use. Review the audience shown before sharing; your private account information and support conversations do not become public because you sign in.

Your content and permission to operate the service

You keep your rights in content you submit. You give Runvel a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free permission to host, store, reproduce, format, transmit and display that content only as needed to provide the features you use, respect your audience choices and operate safety and support processes. This permission extends to service providers acting for us for those purposes; it does not give Runvel ownership of your personal content or permission to use it in advertising or train third-party models.

The permission ends when your content is removed from our systems, except for limited copies kept under the retention rules in our Privacy Policy. Deletion cannot recall copies that other people have already saved or independently shared. Only upload material you own or have permission to share, including photos or information about other people.

Respectful and lawful use

Do not post illegal material, threats, harassment, hate, sexual exploitation, someone else's private information without permission, scams, spam or content that infringes others' rights. Do not impersonate others, evade blocks or moderation, collect members' personal information without permission, or use automated tools to abuse the service. Do not encourage dangerous activity or present community advice as a substitute for professional medical guidance.

Reports, moderation and access

Report concerns through the reporting controls provided with community features or contact support@runvel.app. We may review reported content and relevant account activity, remove or restrict content, limit interactions, or suspend or terminate community access to address violations, safety risks or legal requirements. We will provide a reason and a way to contact us about a decision where appropriate and permitted by law. Serious or repeated misuse may affect account access. Moderation does not automatically cancel billing or remove statutory refund rights.

Other users are responsible for what they post. We do not endorse every community statement or guarantee that information shared by another user is accurate or safe. Use care when sharing a route, arranging to meet someone or acting on advice.

9. Feature availability and development

Runvel may add or improve features over time. The same account, content, privacy and safety rules apply to features within the scope described here. A new interface or minor improvement does not by itself change these terms. Material changes to paid features, account rights or how personal information is handled require appropriate notice and any consent required by law. We will not treat these terms as advance agreement to an unrelated data use.

10. Changes and your rights

We will update this page when these terms change and give notice of material changes. Changes to future subscription pricing are communicated through the applicable billing provider and do not change a period already paid for. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.
